Joan Raphael-Leff We all began life in the body of another human being - immersed in a systemic exchange, absorbing nutrients from the mother's body as well as hormonal derivatives of emotions, while simultaneously expelling our biological waste through her bodily openings. In the words of psychoanalyst Joan Raphael-Leff, this fundamental experience of intercorporeality, where "self" and "non-self" exist in connection, opens up space for deep reflection on how our initial connections influence our entire lives. Every movement reflects a dialogue between someone and something that is yet to come, while also bidding farewell to someone we used to be. The complex dynamics of bold and sensitive interactions in a shared space inhabited simultaneously by the past and the future.What impact does the experience of shared existence have on a woman? RESIDENCE Once again this year, MOVE Ostrava announces a residency program for Czech and foreign artists in the field of dance and other movement arts. Don't miss your chance to create your masterpiece right in Ostrava! Since 2014, we have provided dozens of residencies to artists who used our premises in various stages of the preparatory process, from the first searches for movement material to the completion of lighting and technical details . We are happy when residents return to us, either with the performance they worked on with us, at festivals or just because they love us and miss them. Some performers have loved our premises so much that they return regularly, sometimes several times a year. We also try to provide our residents with media space and mediate contacts to facilitate further communication and offer reruns of performances. Her work touches on the theme of the body in time and space, with its creative and metaphysical potential, and human, feminine and environmental themes. Her approach to aerial dance is deeply influenced by nature, yoga and dance improvisation, as well as the experience of motherhood, feminism and art 's geographical isolation . He creates and collaborates on projects at home and abroad. BOD OBRATU / THE BREAKING POINT Fear is a basic emotion that has a protective function. It has helped us survive for millions of years. ​ However, in modern times, we are often exposed to situations in which the evolutionarily hardwired freeze-fight-flight reactions are not functional. We thus remain trapped in the inner maze of our fears, lost, disconnected, bombarded by bodily reactions without the possibility of adequate action. ​ How else is it possible to deal with fear? Is it possible to use it? Could it even be the driving force behind an important life change? And what is needed for such a transformation of fear to take place? What happens when we turn and look into his eyes? ​ Using the body in motion, lived experience and available knowledge, especially from the field of psychology and neuroscience, the performative lecture The Breaking Point explores the layers and spaces of fear and the processes associated with it.
