OBJECT THEATRE
A performance in which balls are not juggled, but time itself.
How can we allow people to see time, feel it, or even search for it in its purest form? How can we capture the flow of a moment and grasp it directly through movement?
This is the challenge taken on head-on by Belgian artist Alexis Rouvre and his “circus of objects.” More than gravity, it is time that fascinates him, inspired by a thought of astrophysicist Carlo Rovelli: “Bodies naturally move where time flows more slowly.”
Come and discover how this alchemist of futility composes poetry as dense as fog from seemingly ordinary objects. He reveals the reverse side of the moment—where nothing lasts, and yet something remains. You will experience a choreographic ballet of suspended objects, infused with subtle humour and surprising (mis)falls, touching unexplored corners of our perception.
