MOVE Fest Ostrava

An international festival of contemporary dance, new circus, and physical theatre that each year brings outstanding projects from the Czech Republic and abroad to Ostrava. Over the course of several days, theatre halls, public spaces, and unusual locations across the city transform into stages for contemporary performing arts. Expect powerful performances that surprise, entertain, and provoke thought—sometimes grand, sometimes intimate, but always physical, authentic, and contemporary. MOVE Fest is a meeting of artists, audiences, and the unique energy that only live art in direct contact with its audience can create.
