ALEŠ HRDLIČKA (CZ)
ORBITING ZERO
DIVADLO LOUTEK OSTRAVA
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25,
6:30 PM
NEW CIRCUS
A circle that never closes. A spiral orbiting the very essence of creation. A reality that shatters into a thousand fragments, only to reassemble in new and unexpected ways.
MOVE Ostrava presents the premiere of Aleš Hrdlička’s solo contemporary circus performance Orbiting Zero! Embark on a journey into a world where new circus, object and physical theatre, and new magic converge. Here, juggling rings cease to be mere props and transform into gateways to a visual universe where both Aleš and the audience may lose solid ground beneath their feet.
Orbiting Zero blurs the boundaries between realities. Every movement, every invention, every sudden twist opens a new dialogue between the artist’s intention and the “intuition” of the material. What emerges is an endless loop of absurd situations – at times playful, at times poetic, but always irresistibly captivating.
The performance takes you into a workshop where ideas are born, take shape, and collapse again. Into a space where creation becomes an infinite process and juggling evolves into a whole new art form. Expect an experience that will surpass your expectations and draw you deep into a universe of circus, movement, and magical realism.
