What happens when words intertwine with movement and space?

As part of the nationwide event Night of Churches, we invite you to the attic of the “Red Church” — a place where words and souls float between the beams. Nocturne in the Attic is an intimate encounter of spoken word and physical theatre, where texts by Václav Havel, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Vladimír Holan, and Olga Tokarczuk come to life through the voice of actor Vít Roleček and the movement of performer Jana Ryšlavá.

Here, recitation is not a school chore, but a living energy. Poetry is not boring — it’s a way to pause and truly listen. Come and immerse yourself in verses that vibrate through the space. In sentences that transform into a physical prayer. In moods that hang delicately between wooden beams and the night.

We begin at 10:30 p.m. Please arrive on time so we can all enjoy the intimate atmosphere of this unique space undisturbed. Please note that access to the attic is via stairs and at your own risk. We look forward to seeing you
